a bunch of guys! Em, at least here at FMO, the men really do outnumber the
But it's so sweet to see how they treat me and baby. They ask to see the
ultrasound pictures, tease me about morning sickness and cravings, won't let
me stand if there is a seat available, and make sure I take plenty of
bathroom breaks. And the cleaning ladies have joined forces with the guys to
make sure that I'm eating enough. They're always trying to get me to eat
more, reminding me that I'm "eating for two.." Just this morning I was given
corn-bread and an apple fritter. Interesting combination. So interesting in
fact, that I think I'll eat them separately, hehe.
Micah and I started putting together the baby registry, too! It's so much
fun to go "shopping", picking out cute clothes, blankets, decorations for
the room. It's going to be interesting to see how we can spice up the room
since it's white and a rental, thus, no major transformations. But with some
creativity and imagination, I think we can work something out.
Emily's informed us that we'll be having our baby shower when we go down to
TN at Christmas! Perfect! But something tells me that we'll be shipping
quite a bit of stuff back up.. oh boy... Hey, does someone want the shipping
costs to be their present??
One thing we know is that we want to have the baby dedication hopefully the
week after baby is born, while Mom, Dad, Brandon, Tyler, Grandma, and the
whole Peter Clan are still here in town. Especially since I want Daddy to do
the actual dedication. We'll do the local baby shower then, most likely.
Kind of like how Heather and Jeremy did Lillian's dedication and shower.
So, that's it for now.. just wanted to give you a quick update.
