oooooo... new!

That's right.. I have a new layout. I really liked my old one, the browns and greens, especially since it worked so nicely with our baby colors. But sadly enough the person hosting the layout and pictures goofed and the header went bye-bye. Oh well.

You know, I could learn to design the layouts for myself... but that's just another thing to add to the list of things I wish I could do and don't have time to do.

[warning- gross factor]

Of course, right now the top item on that list is sleep. I feel absolutely crummy right now. We had left on the evening flight out of Bethel last night and no sooner had I gotten on the plane than I started to feel sick... like really sick. Pale in the face, aches in the body, hurl on the floor kind of sick. And of course they put on the seatbelt sign right away so I couldn't get up and go to the bathroom. Ugh. I did have the nice little (and i do mean LITTLE) barf bags they give you "just in case"... but I'd rather do my humiliation in private, thank you very much.

10 minutes.. still sitting on the runway... 20 minutes.. still sitting on the runway... 30 minutes.. yup.. still there. Finally, 40 minutes late we take off. Then it's ANOTHER 15 minutes until they reach cruising altitude. About 10 minutes into the flight people were getting desperate and were getting up despite the seatbelt sign in order to use the lavatory. Even though I was in a world of agony, I'm not a lawbreaker (I don't even jaywalk) so I stayed put. But let me tell you that as soon as that seatbelt sign blinked off I scrambled out of my window seat and made a mad dash to the rear. Then of course, I had to wait. And wait.. and..

FINALLY! Someone came out and I went in and promptly hurled up everything for lunch and then some. Yuck. Majorly yucky. And of course someone kept on jiggling the handle even though it clearly says "occupied" on the outside, and knocking on the door. Finally I had a enough and pounded back on the door and said "Someone is IN HERE!" and promptly hurled again.

I got back to my seat just as they started the descent which meant.. seatbelts! Five minutes later.. I had to throw up again. I huddled in the corner and stuck my head in a barf bag and was throwing up as the plane landed. Wonderful. I actually filled that bag and was on my second one by the time we deboarded. Micah says that I throw up very lady-like. The actual "incident" is silent and then I just sort of cough afterwords as though clearing my throat. Well, it's nice to know that I didn't humiliate myself too badly.

Of course, as soon as I got home and went to bed I started throwing up again, only this time I had chills and shakes. I would be so cold, then I would throw up and be burning up. My whole body ached and all I could do was whimper. All in all, I only got about an hour of solid sleep. Not really conducive to a good day.

Now this morning I feel icky, and my stomach won't behave. I'm trying to eat something but everything taste funny and just makes me feel worse. I don't have the aches and chills but still.. ugh.. sleep please?

Yeah.. so just.. yeah. pray.
