Birthdays last.. two months?!

I am finally spending my gift cards to Barnes and Noble that I got for my
birthday! Woohoo! I felt so bad though, causes $50 at CBD or even Tidal Wave
could buy SO MANY BOOKS.. at B&N it bought.. 4...

Sigh. I HATE paying full price.

But I got some good ones, it was sooo hard to choose:

A Bride in the Bargain by Deeanne Gist (Read it yesterday in 2.5 hours)
The Coming Storm by Tracie Peterson (I have book 1 and 4 in this series and
am slowly acquiring the remaining 2 books)
Just Jane by Nancy Moser (A Christian book about Jane Austen, what's not to
Copperhead by Bernard Cornwall (An historical fiction book about the Civil
War, supposed to be the best one since The Killer Angels, which was

So far I'm happy with my choices, so we'll see at the end of book #4!

But really, this could not have come at a better time because I've read and
reread my books so many times that I have just about every one of them
memorized. Perhaps not word for word, but at least the entire storyline.
"Pick a book, any book!"

That, and the fact that I haven't been the library in 3 months (*gasp*) has
left me woefully void of reading material. Well, not for the next 4 days!

Also--- side note--- I didn't know it was even possible for a cat to lay on
the back of a futon. But somehow Milo manages to do just that.
