Hello 12 Weeks!

Your Pregnancy: Week 12

First trimester: Check! The nausea, fatigue, mood swings, and bathroom
dashes should soon fade, but (sorry!) headaches and dizziness will probably
get more intense. The good news: You're about to embark on the second
trimester, when mood and energy levels generally peak.

*Baby's now the size of a plum!*

As you move into the second trimester, baby shifts into the growth and
maturation stage. After weeks in the critical development stage, almost all
of her systems are fully formed.

*So that's that. Baby is growing bigger and bigger, and (hopefully) the
nausea will get less and less. I managed to make it through the whole day
yesterday without any pukeage, and even managed to have Jenna over for
supper (woohoo for company), and then I finished the whole evening off with
a long bubble bath with a good book. Currently, I'm re-reading old childhood
classics, such as the Elsie Dinsmore series. The originals, not the new
abridged. I always loved that series...

You know what still amazes me? How books written a hundred years ago, two
hundred, even stories written a thousand years ago can still capture the
imagination of today's generations, inspiring them to dream, create, and
live a hundred different lives without ever leaving home. That is the power
of literature.

Okay, back to baby. We're slowly amassing our collection of baby things.
Some gifts came in from some friends and family members, so we have a few
blankets, some shoes, some ADORABLE things from Momma.. and of course,
books. :D I'll have to take pictures here soon. I would start taking baby
bump pictures but my bump is still so tiny it barely shows, so, someday
