Really really REALLY awake

So I wasn't feeling well this morning and had a massive headache/migraine that last far into the afternoon. Michelle asked if I wanted to go home this morning but I decided that since I had already made the effort to come in, I might as well try to tough it out. Thankfully nothing was so pressing that it couldn't wait until tomorrow and I was able to get by on assembling welcome packets and making copies. The low mental stress helped keep a bad situation from getting worse.

But I still had photography. And my five hour lab at that. Ugh. I knew that there was no way that I could make it through that, especially since I had forgotten to bring comfortable shoes and was wearing my high heeled boots. Yeah. Talk about a backache. What's worse, I had already finished the first photography assignment and had yet to start shooting my second photography assignment (that will be this weekend) so really I had nothing to do. There was one shot I wanted to perfect that was non-assignment, but purely for personal pleasure so I worked on that. Still, I only stayed just under two hours before I ducked out and went home.

As soon as I walked in the door I crashed and slept for the next.. um... five hours.

That's why I'm wide awake at 1:20 AM.

The good news is that my headache is all gone. I feel perfectly fine, alert, and really quite energetic and happy.

So all's well that ends well, eh?

What! Really?

I just got back my grade for my World Lit Comparison 1 paper. I got a full A, 200/200. What? Really? That paper was horrible. I was going with one topic and ended up changing it the night before and throwing the paper together in a couple of hours.

Well, I'm glad she liked it.
